ഇബ്നു ഇസ്ഹാഖ് തുടരുന്നു. അബൂബക്കർ(റ) ഇബ്നുദ്ദഗന്നയുടെ ജാമ്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഒഴിവായ ശേഷം കഅബയുടെ അടുത്തെത്തി. അപ്പോൾ ഖുറൈശികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലെ ഒരു വിഢിയായ മനുഷ്യൻ സിദീഖ്(റ) ന്റെ ശിരസ്സിൽ മണ്ണുവാരിയിട്ടു. ആ സമയത്ത് വലീദ്ബിൻ മുഗീറയോ ആസ്വ് ബിൻ വാഇലോ അതുവഴി കടന്നു പോയി. സിദീഖ്(റ) അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് ചോദിച്ചു കണ്ടില്ലേ നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുള്ളവർ ചെയ്യുന്നത്? അയാൾ പറഞ്ഞു, നിങ്ങൾ തന്നെയാണിത് വരുത്തി വച്ചത്. സിദ്ദീഖ്(റ) അപ്പോൾ അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.
പരീക്ഷണങ്ങൾ വിശ്വാസികളുടെ ആദർശവീര്യം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു. വിമർശങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലും ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ ഇസ്ലാം തേടിയെത്തി. നാനാ നാട്ടിൽ നിന്നും തീർത്ഥാടകരെത്തുന്ന മക്കയിൽ നിന്ന് പുതിയ വാർത്തകൾ എല്ലാ ദിക്കിലേക്കും പരന്നു.
അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കെ ദൗസ് ഗോത്രക്കാരനായ ത്വുഫൈൽ ബിൻ അംറ് മക്കയിലെത്തി. അറിയപ്പെട്ട ഗോത്രത്തിലെ നേതാവും ബുദ്ധിമാനുമായ കവി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വാധീനവും പ്രതിഭാത്വവും എല്ലാവർക്കും പരിചിതമാണ്. ഖുറൈശി പ്രമുഖർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സമീപിച്ചു. മുഹമ്മദ് നബി ﷺ യെ കുറിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു. ഇവിടെ ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു വ്യക്തി പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. പ്രവാചകത്വം വാദിക്കുന്നു. മാസ്മരികമായ വചനങ്ങളാണ് അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അത് മാരണമാണ്. നിങ്ങൾ ആ വചനങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കുകയോ ആ വ്യക്തിയെ സന്ദർശിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യരുത്. പ്രാഥമികമായി ത്വുഫൈൽ അത് വിശ്വസിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം കരുതലോടെയാണ് സഞ്ചരിച്ചത്. കഅബയുടെ മുറ്റത്തേക്ക് വന്നപ്പോൾ പ്രവാചകൻﷺ അവിടെ നിന്ന് നിസ്കരിക്കുന്നു. ഖുർആൻ കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ കാതടച്ചു വെച്ചു. പക്ഷേ, ഖുർആൻ പാരായണത്തിന്റെ ശകലം അദ്ദേഹം കേൾക്കാനിടയായി. അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അതാകർഷിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹം സ്വയം വിലയിരുത്തി വിവേകശാലിയായ ഞാൻ എന്തിനിത് കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കണം. കവിയും ജ്ഞാനിയുമായ എനിക്ക് നല്ലതും അല്ലാത്തതും എന്ത് കൊണ്ട് വേർതിരിച്ചു കൂടാ? ഏതായാലും കേൾക്കാം നല്ലതെങ്കിൽ സ്വീകരിക്കാം, അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം ഒഴിവാക്കാമല്ലൊ. പ്രവാചകൻ ﷺ കഅബയിൽ നിന്ന് വീട്ടിലേക്ക് തിരിക്കുന്നത് വരെ കാത്തിരുന്നു. പുറപ്പെടാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ നബിﷺ യെ സമീപിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞു, അല്ലയോ മുഹമ്മദ്ﷺ അവിടുത്തെ നാട്ടുകാർ അവിടുത്തെ കുറിച്ച് ഇപ്രകാരമൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തി. അത് പ്രകാരം ഖുർആൻ വചനങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ കാത് തിരുകി അടച്ചിട്ടാണ് ഞാൻ കഅബയുടെ അടുത്തെത്തിയത്. എന്നാൽ എനിക്ക് വചനങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കാൻ ഭാഗ്യമുണ്ടായി. മനോഹരമായ വചനങ്ങൾ. എത്ര ഭംഗി! എന്താണ് അവിടുന്ന് പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം എനിക്കൊന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു തരൂ. നബിﷺ വിശുദ്ധ ഖുർആൻ പാരായണം ചെയ്തു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു. നൂറ്റിപ്പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തെ അധ്യായം 'അൽ ഇഖ്‌ലാസ്' ആണ് ആദ്യം കേൾപ്പിച്ചത്. ഏക ദൈവ വിശ്വാസം അഥവാ തൗഹീദാണ് ആ അധ്യായത്തിന്റെ പ്രമേയം. ത്വുഫൈലിനെ അത് നന്നായി സ്വാധീനിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് നൂറ്റിപ്പതിമൂന്ന് പതിന്നാല് (ഫലക്, നാസ്) അധ്യായങ്ങളും ഓതിക്കേൾപ്പിച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് ഇസ്‌ലാമിലേക്കെന്നെ ക്ഷണിച്ചു. എത്ര സുന്ദരമായ വചനങ്ങൾ. എത്ര നീതിപൂർവ്വമായ ആദർശം. എന്തൊരു ചാരുതയുള്ള സംഹിത. ഞാൻ ഇസ്ലാം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. തുടർന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. എൻ്റെ ജനതയിൽ ഞാൻ സർവ്വാംഗീകൃതനാണ്. ഞാൻ നാട്ടുകാരെ ഈ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് ക്ഷണിക്കാം. ഒപ്പം എനിക്ക് സവിശേഷമായ ഒരു അത്ഭുത പ്രമാണം കൂടിത്തന്നാൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു. തിരുനബിﷺ അതിന് വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.
മഴയും ഇരുട്ടുമുള്ള രാത്രിയിൽ ഞാൻ നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി. കൂരിരുട്ടിൽ ഒരു കുന്നിന്റെ അടുത്തെത്തി. അപ്പോഴതാ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾക്കിടയിൽ ഒരു വിളക്കുപോലെ വഴിയിൽ വെളിച്ചം പകർന്നു പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നു. ഞാനാലോചിച്ചു കണ്ണുകൾക്കിടയിൽ ഇതിങ്ങനെ നിന്നാൽ മുഖത്തുണ്ടായ ഒരു കലപോലെ അത് വായിക്കപ്പെടും. അത് മുഖമല്ലാത്ത സ്ഥലത്ത് ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു. വൈകിയില്ല ചാട്ടവാറിന്റെ അഗ്ര ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് ആ വെളിച്ചം മാറി. കൊളുത്തി വച്ച ഒരു വിളക്ക് പോലെ പ്രകാശിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മെല്ലെ മെല്ലെ കുന്നിറങ്ങി. വീട്ടിലേക്കടുത്തു. വയോധികനായ എന്റെ പിതാവ് അടുത്തേക്കു വന്നു. ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു ഉപ്പാ അൽപം അകലം പാലിക്കാം നമുക്ക്. അതെന്താ മോനേ?
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنٰا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ.

Ibn Ishaq continues. Abu Bakar(R) came to the holy Ka'aba after being freed from the protection of Ibn Dagunna. Then a foolish man from among the Quraish threw soil on the head of Sideeq(R) and at that time Waleed bin Mughira or Aas bin Wa'il passed by. Sidheeq(R) asked. Did you not see what one of your group did?. He said. You have brought this about yourself. Sideeq(R) then glorified Allah.
Trials increased the idealism of the believers. Despite the criticism, the lucky ones came to Islam. From Mecca, where pilgrims came from many countries, new news spread to all directions.
At that time Tufail bin Amr, a member of the tribe of 'Daws', came to Mecca. He was the leader the famous tribe as well as an intelligent poet. Quraish leaders approached him and said. 'A person named Muhammad(ﷺ) appeared here in Mecca . He advocates his prophecy. Magical utterances are presented. It is sorcery. You should not listen to those words or visit that person'. Primarily Tufail believed it. He travelled cautiously. When he came to the courtyard of the holy Ka'aba, the Prophetﷺ was performing prayer from there. He covered his ears so as not to hear the holy Qur'an. But he happened to hear a part of the holy Quran recitation. He was attracted by it. Why shouldn't I, who is wise and having ability to judge, listen to him? In any case, if it is good to hear it, then it can be accepted, if not, it can be avoided. He waited the Prophetﷺ until he returned home from the holy Ka'aba. When he was about to leave, he approached the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Muhammadﷺ. Your natives said many thing about you. They scared me. Accordingly, I came near the holy Ka'aba with my ears closed so as not to hear the words of the holy Qur'an. But I was lucky enough to hear the words.
Beautiful words. How beautiful!. Tell me what you are propagating. The Prophetﷺ recited the Holy Qur'an and listened to it. The one hundred and twelfth chapter 'Al Ikhlas' was the first to be recited. The theme of that chapter is monotheism or Tawheed. Thufail was well influenced by it. Then one hundred and thirteenth and fourteenth chapters of 'Al Falaq and Al Naas'. Then he invited me to Islam. Beautiful words. What a righteous ideal!. What a beautiful code. I accepted Islam. Then I said. I am famous in my people. I will invite the natives to this path. And it would be good if I get a special miraculous evidence. The Holy Prophetﷺ prayed for it.
I returned home on a rainy and dark night. I reached a hill in the dark. Then, like a lamp between my eyes. The light shines on the way. I thought that if the light stand like this between my eyes, it will be seen like a black mark on my face. If it is changed to another part it would have been better. Soon the light shifted to the tip of the whip. It started to shine like a lamp lighted. It slowly went down the hill. It came near the house. My aged father came near. I said father, let's keep a little distance. what is that my son?
